How to opt in

You opt in yourself, from your own alert settings in the BurchX Console:

  1. Sign in to the BurchX Console and open your alert settings.
  2. Enter your own mobile number.
  3. Read the consent statement and tick the box to agree to receive alert texts.
  4. Save your settings.

The consent checkbox is unchecked by default and must be ticked to save a number. Texts are sent only after the consent box has been ticked for that number.

The Text message alerts section of a person's alert settings in the BurchX Console, as it first appears: an empty mobile number field, the consent statement with its checkbox unchecked, and a Save button.
The opt-in, as it appears in your own alert settings in the BurchX Console before you fill it in. The consent checkbox starts unchecked.
